Brainchild of Sathrup Dutta, Bookrento was first conceptualized while its founder was in doing his graduation. It was then, when the idea of creating a platform where anyone can share his/her books which have always been laying ideal begging to be used. Most of us have books which are never used again once our final examinations are over. And there have been many times when we need books for examination preparation, but don’t want to spend heavy by buying new ones. And thats where a need of a place arrive where anyone can look for their required used books and buy or rent them at very affordable prices. This is the best way to earn while you share. But somehow, the concept was not getting into shape because he was occupied trying to establish himself in the career he had opted. And then came 2020, the pandemic struck and affected everyone. Sathrup was no special to be spared. He lost his job and his financial growth came to a standstill. Amidst of this on going pandemic, he look it as an opportunity to pursue the things which he had always wanted to do. He started it by learning the ways to built a website. Saw tons of videos and moved his step in creating bookrento. It was not an easy cakewalk. With everyday came a new challenge and new struggle to find the solution. But never looked back. And finally after 157 Days and 3768 hours of non-stop working and development, Bookrento was created.
